✨ How to Prepare for Your Lip Blushing Appointment
To ensure the best results and comfort during your session:
- Exfoliate your lips gently 24–48 hours before your appointment.
- Keep your lips hydrated with balm in the days leading up.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications 24 hours prior.
- If you’re prone to cold sores, take an antiviral medication (as prescribed by your doctor) before your appointment.
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free lips.
🪷 Lip Blushing Aftercare
Proper aftercare is key for beautiful, long-lasting results. Expect your lips to appear darker at first; the color will soften as they heal.
Do’s:
- Keep lips clean and lightly moisturized with the provided healing ointment.
- Use a straw for drinking during the first few days.
- Be gentle – allow any flaking or peeling to happen naturally.
- Stay hydrated and keep your lips moisturized.
Don’ts:
- Don’t pick, peel, or scratch your lips as they heal.
- Avoid makeup, heavy sweating, saunas, and swimming until fully healed.
- Don’t expose your lips to direct sunlight or tanning beds during the healing process.
- Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods for the first few days.
Healing typically takes about 7–10 days, with full results showing once the skin fully regenerates.
