How to Prepare for your Sugaring Appointment
Preparing for a sugar waxing session ensures a smoother, more effective treatment and minimizes any potential discomfort. Here are some essential tips to get ready:
- Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the area to be waxed a day or two before your appointment. This removes dead skin cells and helps prevent ingrown hairs, allowing the sugar wax to adhere better to the hair.
- Let Hair Grow: For best results, make sure your hair is at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice). If the hair is too short, the sugar wax may not grip properly, and if it’s too long, it can cause more discomfort.
